When I first started the CEP class I thought all I was going to learn is that how to get jobs, interview done, internship etc. but I was wrong. There were more to what I thought. This class didn’t only teach me it changed a lot of my thinking about life. I found a new person with in myself. Today right now as I am writing this paper I see that there are new doors that opened in my life.
Well to me school and classes were somewhere you have to go to get your degree and in order to that we had to have good grades and working toward grades our professor would let us do our assignment. But this class was completely different here went to learn new stuff now who we were and express our inner side. Things that weren’t exposed came out as we went step by step in this class. Not only that we were learning inside the class we even had a chance of going outside class and chill and learn. The professor implied a lot of time in letting us know about our responsibility and that we were adult. He chooses a complete different way of doing that. He gave us our own mind of doing our text instead of holding by hand and walked us thru the path. After all these what I could say is that I have learned a complete new study skill and life style from this class.

S.P.A.M
Our last assignment for the CEP class is to do a group presentation. As I wrote in my last articles that group work gave me a lot of experience and based on that I am working toward my last day of class and our presentation. We named our group the S.P.A.M. which is the abbreviation of our group members major.
S- Sport Management
P- Psychology
A- Accounting
M- Music.
In order to do this assignment we have to talk about ourselves but in group. So we all sat together for a meeting last class and we planned what we should do and how. We all put our thoughts in and let each other judge how it was and then we all together came to one decision. This proved that every body in the group had the ability to work in group and to respect others thoughts and decision. Yesterday after our team leader send me a full proof project I felt like I have achieved another milestone in my life it’s a different feeling when we could do stuff together. And I hope our presentation will catch everybody heart.

Future
Past, present and future, these three timing of ones life is very important. Past is something that every body looks back into has different feelings. Present is sometime where u just want to do something for the future. Future is some where you want to be at.
In my future I want to be among the successful people where everybody wants to be in.
Three years from now I want to have an accountant job in one of the well known leading business corporation. Then have a hose of my own where I will leave with my family and they will not struggle for their wants and needs. Even though, I wanted to be famous and powerful in life. But as I grew up I noticed that having power and famous takes a lot of your family bonding away from you. And I could not look at myself with a happy family. Families where we will have our times together share our goodtime. Cause running for fame and power actually a sign of greed. People might have a different view to it but I think to be happy all you need is a life where you could be yourself and not have to worry about anything or the consequences.

Different Meaning of SUCCESS
What is success? Whom can you call or entitle as a successful person? To various people, success is simply achieving their highest goal. My point of view toward success is almost the same, which is reaching the peak of goal as well as being happy and have no regret of who you are. In other word being able to satisfy your family need, have wealth, be happy with what you are doing, to be proficient at your career, to be respected and have respect for other, and to be able to reach your lifelong goals.
Few days back when we were in the class and our professor put us in to groups and told us to talk about our future and if anything changed in our opinion due to the experience received from this class. While I was talking I saw that there were so many meanings of success. I mean everybody looked at success in there own way. At that time I thought I was wrong and when we got out of group and sat in the circle where we shared our thoughts with everyone else in class. I tried proving my point and that my meaning of success is better then anyone else but not letting other understands. But later that night I was by myself thinking about it and then I realized how I was wrong. From that group session I learned that success is something that will full fill once dream in life and it could be anything depends on what you dream of.
Now if you ask me what is success I would say making your dream come true is your success. So work toward your wish and your future and success will automatically come in front of you and you won’t even know. Do not run after success. Do what you are good at and success will run after you.

Interview experience
Almost every job requires an interview in order to hire you. It could be a short and quick or long and time consuming. It could be over the phone or face to face. The important note is that interview is very important in order to get a job. Therefore our CEP professor gave us a mock interview.
From this interview we received a lot of new experience and information that will help us in future regarding job interviews. For example we learned how to be dressed for an interview as he graded us as well on our dress up in the interview. While we had the interview he examined our approach the way we spoke our body language and if anything was not right he corrected us. Not only that, he gave us a feed back what could be done to top the interview.
Beside all that it gave us a boost in our confident for any other job interview. I felt that I could do better in an interview then I could have before this mock. Now I know more about the way of giving an interview the before. I am very thankful to Professor William Beaufort for such a great opportunity.

COVER LETTER
Cover letter should be sent by every body that sends out a resume for a job. It is a covering letter for your resume. This letter should not be too long or too short. It should have a back up note of what you said in your resume.
When the a person reads you cover letter they should know how you got to know about them and why are you interested in this field of job. What can you give them and as well the reason of them hiring you. All this should convince them to give you the job or not. Therefore if you take forever to make them understand your interest and your value they might not be interested in you. As a result cover letter is important when you send a resume.

EDUCATION
Well I was going through the worst and best job of the year 2010 today and became really upset. I was shocked to see the position of an Accountant job. Not only that the salary was just out of my expectation. I always knew that Accountant is a stable job. And I did my research when I thought of studying Accounting. Well I have to say compare to back then with today job market there is a huge difference.
It is still said to be one of the best job compared to a lot of other job market. It’s just that I was expecting a little better. At least thought it will improve when I started my education as day passes. On the other hand I should not be feeling that bad cause there are other jobs that fell. So over all people should not lose confident about what they are doing or planning to do according to the job field. It will rise and fall but what you know and you are will always be you. And you could manage a lot of ways because education is your biggest fortune. Make use of it.

GROUP EXPERIENCE
Working in a group can help a person bring out their inner side with out even noticing them. I like working in a group but it takes time for me to adjust to it. Therefore it becomes tough sometime. I feel uncomfortable at the fact that I have to share my thoughts and feelings to people and what might they think. Will they understand what I mean or not, because I would not want them to misunderstand me. Like this there were many questions in my head and as a result I was very uncomfortable to work in a group and as well as express myself to in it.
So, when Prof. William first notified the class about group work and how we will do our final paper with in a group I was worried. Did not know what to do and how will I tackle this situation. As far as I remember I failed to get many jobs due to group interviews. I used to be well prepared, practiced interview question couple of time with friends and then in my head. Once I see that the interview will be in a group I would panic and go blank. There fore when the professor declared the project I started panicking due to my past experience. I believe it was not only me because the professor then told the class how it will be easy and he gave us different ways to get in to a group like writing about the type of people that I will fell comfortable. How we should approach each other etc. Once I was put in to a group I noticed that following his technique helped me a lot to open up. Not only that my group members were help full as well. But the question was will I still be able to do the same with people that are my competition.
Yes, why not; was the answer at the end of the day. I learned that no matter where you at and who you with as long as you make the group members your friend and feel that you should share with them no matter how they take it cause you can not judge a person just by looking at them. They might or they might not look at you different. If you do not give them a chance then you will never know. I got this answer by working in the present group. I saw every body was sharing their thoughts, moments, etc. and we were like a family tried making each other comfortable and help each other and I came out of my fear and started talking which made me feel much better. Now I am confident to share with new people and make friends out of them. This will help me in the future in my group interviews not only that if we have meetings at work I wont have to be left out I could also put my two sense in.

LIFE SKILL 1
Everybody leaves with a goal in front of them. It could be anything. Everyone is not the same in this world just like all five finger of a hand is not the same. As a result, goals vary from person to person. One would like to be a famous person the other could just be happy to have a simple life and a happy family. So my goal is also different from everyone else. I as a young child wanted to be established as early age as possible.
That is finishing my college, get a job, have my own house and take care of my family. To do all this I have to be very serious with my life and do everything on time can not lack by any chance or due to anything. But I couldn’t as I was progressing toward my goal I got carried away with friends and fun. Therefore, I lost my track to success.
Right now I am working to bring myself on track for my goal. When I started this semester after one year break of school I was really confused and nervous if I will be able to take the entire load. But I new deep down that I had to. I think my best preference at this point was to take the CEP class. Because this class actually helps you to realize what you want to be in future or even if you’re confused it leads you to a strong base. I want to use this class and help my self to get back on track and start my fulfilling my goal.
At present I am fully focused on finishing my school as soon as possible at the same time do some internship so that I get some experience of real life. How it will be out there when I start working. And take full advantage of CEP class to get a good internship and use that experience to get a better job. Exactly how I designed my life when I was young.

Now if you put all this in someone that person could proudly be called a successful person. Among all the people I know my oldest uncle name Abdul Awal Mintoo has all the quality I jotted down in the above paragraph. My uncle Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo is one of the wealthiest and well known men in Bangladesh. He is not only rich and famous he is a good hearted person who has done a lot for his people and his family. He is a member of SAARC and as well as involved with many other cooperation. And right now he is looking forward to help the capital of Bangladesh by running for the mayor. I have known him since I was born but I was still amazed to know about his past and how he became who he is today.
Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo was born in 1949 in Aleyarpur, a small and remote village in Feni district of Bangladesh. He belongs to a family of landowners who initiated his primary education in the village school. He later pursued high school and college education in Feni, Comilla and in the Juldia marine Academy in the city of Chittagong. Then he became a merchant officer (1968-1971) which gave him the privilege to travel along coast of four continents. In 1971 when Bangladesh was struggling for liberation he sought political asylum in the United States where he achieved higher degree of education. He received his BSC degree in Transportation Science (1973) and MSc in Transportation Management (1977) from Maritime College, State University of New York. Then he worked for a shipping company in the U.S for eight years. But in 1982 he confronted a moment of truth and decided to give up the security of his ongoing successful career in international shipping he returned to Bangladesh.
He began his career aspiring to be a ship captain, but has turned into a businessman and has achieved outstanding success as a leading entrepreneur of Bangladesh. He advocates societal structure that simultaneously embraces both the market and the government. This causes to strengthening the economic infrastructure of Bangladesh. His business edifice was built by his capitalizing on the rich and varied experience, steady resolve and an indomitable spirit.
At the end of the conversation I understood why people run after success and the reason of its importance at any age group. I was really proud of my self to be a part of his family and him. This interview also gave me a lot of information of how to get to your goal.
